Arthur is in his fourth year in the program. He previously received a BA in Latin and Greek from Oberlin College (2006). His interests are the role of North Africa in the early Roman empire, banditry, and troublemakers in Roman society. He is currently developing a dissertation on the spread of Roman imperial culture in North Africa.
