Christina is in her sixth year of the program and previously received a B.A. in Classics and Ancient Mediterranean Studies from the Pennsylvania State University (2002), as well as a B.S. in Genetics and Developmental Biology. She has excavated two seasons at the Athenian Agora and one season with the Mt. Lykaion Excavation and Survey Project in Arcadia. Her interests lie primarily in social and cultural history. After spending two years at the American School of Classical Studies at Athens, she is back in residence in Philadelphia and continues work on her dissertation on the formation of regional identity using Artemis cult as a focal point.
