I was thinking that perhaps Carlos or one of our law experts might have looked into this. My reason for asking is that it would be helpful to the argument of my commentary if I could cite these as cases dealing with money (or even better, with inheritance... but the latter is wishful thinking). To remind of the context, Section 66 is where Apuleius leaves the focus on the slanders concerning magic and philosophy and turns to what I (and Apuleius) call the real charges concerning Pudentilla's money and inheritance. Put the stuff on your own web site and send me a link. I'll actually take the files away and put them on the central site for safety's sake. 2. Ftp or Fetch them to ccat.sas.upenn.edu and put them in directory jod_incoming, then e-mail me the filenames so I don't get confused. Then stay tuned: It'll be a while before this really takes shape, but I'll be reading your stuff individually and getting back to you over the near term. jo'd From apology-owner Wed May 15 22:41:23 1996 Received: (from root@localhost) by ccat.sas.upenn.edu (8.6.12/8.6.12) id WAA77389 for apology-outgoing; Wed, 15 May 1996 22:41:21 GMT Received: (from jod@localhost) by ccat.sas.upenn.edu (8.6.12/8.6.12) id SAA94787 for apology; Wed, 15 May 1996 18:41:17 -0400 From: "James O'Donnell" Message-Id: <199605152241.SAA94787@ccat.sas.upenn.edu> Subject: APUL: a little amusing help To: apology Date: Wed, 15 May 1996 18:41:17 -0400 (EDT) X-Mailer: ELM [version 2.4 PL23-upenn3.1] MIME-Version: 1.0 Content-Type: text/plain; charset=US-ASCII Content-Transfer-Encoding: 7bit Content-Length: 172 Sender: owner-apology@ccat.sas.upenn.edu Precedence: bulk When I make the home page for Apul. himself, I want him to include a few of his favorite links.
