The Transcribe program is a utility for making many global search-and-replace changes in a text file. It is useful for changing a file designed for one exotic font into a file designed for another. This program was written in 1993 and worked well in MacOS 7.6. It works in Macintosh operating systems earlier than MacOS 10. I have no plans to upgrade this software for more recent versions of the Macintosh operating system. I retain the copyright for Transcribe. It can be freely copied and distributed as long as it is used for a non-commercial purpose. Download each of the following files: transcribe.3.2.sea.hqx (the program itself) basic.ts.doc.sea.hqx (basic documentation) patterns.sea.hqx (patterns for transcription) and, if you want complete documentation, one of the following files: ts.docs.word.hqx (if you use Microsoft Word) ts.docs.macwrite.hqx (if you use MacWrite) ***************************************************************************** Jay C.
