The Macintosh Centris 650 comes with 4 megabytes of RAM and a built-in 8K cache for speed up to 2.5 times that of the Macintosh IIci and IIvx. For increased performance, you can expand memory up to 132 megabytes or add an optional math coprocessor. For performance and convenience, the Macintosh Centris 650 works with all Apple displays. The standard Macintosh Centris 650 can display 256 crisp colors on the Macintosh 16-inch display. For photographic-quality images, a video upgrade lets you show 32,768 colors on the same display. You can use the Macintosh Centris 650's expandablity to set up a system that meets your exact needs, or to increase your computing power as your needs grow. Customize your system by adding NuBus expansion cards in the three expansion slots provided, or with an on-board networking capability add an Ethernet option.
