Trace the history of the demoness Lilith from ancient times down through
her character in modern folklore. Show how her role has changed at
various times. What might have prompted those changes?
When do we first find the myth of the Fall of Satan as it is generally
known? Compare it to the Babylonian creation story ("Enuma Elish") and
the Jewish apocryphal "Story of the Watchers." Are these three stories
related in any way? If not, how do you explain their similarities? If
so, suggest how they might be connected historically.
