Lady Lilith, Dante Gabriel Rossetti. 1864-73.
I was not sure if this was supposed to be the
Mythological Lilith, but thanks to Renee
Rosen who found Rossetti's
poems written to accompany it, I am no longer doubtful.Wilmington Society of the Fine Arts, Wilmington, Delaware.

H.R. Giger. Lilith. If you are even a little familiar
with Giger's work,
you can't be too surprised to find that he portrayed
Lilith. She made the cover of one of his books, in fact.

Susan

I have been unable to verify the details on
this sculpture, but it most likely comes from her
Dieties series, circa 1994.

Lilith in the Darkness East of EdenI got this (actually Renee Rosen found it first) from what I take to be a MUD (I think) which has now disappeared. I was told by the same person who correctly informed me of the origin of the preceeding picture that this is also from In Nomine, but I have not yet been able to confirm that. If the information is correct, then it is probably drawn by Dan Smith and the copyright info. will be the same. Mr. Smith was able to confirm by e-mail that he drew at least one Lilith picture as well as the preceeding 'lilim'.

Lilith as vampire. Some vampire lore has
Lilith as either the first and oldest of the vampires, or at least
their queen.I found this at a collection of vampire pictures. I have been told that it probably comes from one of the Marvel Comics serials, presumably Dracula where Lilith is Dracula's daughter. But she also made an appearance in one of the X-Men comics as well.
