Call for Papers

The next International Congress of the International Organization for Septuagint and Cognate Studies is to be held in Helsinki on 29-31 July 2010 (before the IOSOT conference, on August 1-6, 2010).

IOSCS members, or candidate members, interested in presenting a paper are invited to submit a proposal containing their name, the name of their academic institution, postal address, email, and the title of their proposed paper. A summary of the paper should also be included, no more than 250 words in length. It should state the problem, the essential background, and the conclusions.

Please send the proposal before January 31, 2010, to Jan Joosten at one of the addresses below (preferably by email).

Die nächste internationale Konferenz der International Organization for Septuagint and Cognate Studies soll vom 29.-31. Juli 2010 in Helsinki stattfinden.

Mitglieder der IOSCS oder an einer Mitgliedschaft interessierte Kolleginnen und Kollegen, die einen Vortrag halten möchten, werden gebeten, unter Angabe ihres Namens, der akademischen Institution, der Adresse, des emails sowie des Titels ein Vorschlag zu machen. Eine Zusammenfassung des Vortrags, nicht länger als 250 Wörter, soll das zu bearbeitende Problem, die Hintergründe und die Ergebnisse darstellen.

Bitte schicken Sie ihren Vorschlag bis zum 31. Januar 2010 an Jan Joosten (möglichst per email).

Le prochain congrès de la International Organization for Septuagint and Cognate Studies doit avoir lieu à Helsinki, du 29 au 31 juillet 2010, avant le congrès de l'IOSOT (1-6 août 2010).

Les membres ou membres postulants de l'IOSCS qui voudraient présenter un exposé sont priés d'envoyer une proposition reprenant leur nom, le nom de l'institution académique de rattachement, les adresses postale et électronique, et le titre de l'exposé, le tout suivi d'un résumé de 250 mots maximum, énonçant le problème abordé, l'arrière-plan et les conclusions.

Veuillez envoyer votre proposition avant le 31 janvier 2010 à Jan Joosten à l'une des adresses suivantes (préférablement par courriel).
