How to Change Your E-Mail Address

The Problem

Sometimes your e-mail address changes. When this happens, you may find it very difficult to communicate with IOUDAIOS-L and the ListServ at Lehigh University, because the listserver only recognizes messages from your old address and you no longer have access to it.

The Solution

You can use your password to identify yourself to the Lehigh listserver.

When you subscribed to IOUDAIOS-L, you received a message welcoming you. You were told to save that message because it contains your password. If you did save that message, find it now and copy your password from it.

Then send e-mail to:

listserv@lehigh.edu

with the following one-line message:

set ioudaios-l address password new@address

where:

password is your password, and
new@address is your new address.

This message will identify you securely to the listserver and let you change your address.

When All Else Fails

If the instructions given above do not work for you, then send a note to requesting a change in address. If all else fails, we can always unsubscribe your old address and resubscribe you under the new address.
