Michele Monserrati is currently a doctoral student at Rutgers University. He received his Ph.D. from the University of Florence in 2007. In 2005 he published Le “cognizioni inutili”, saggio su “Lo Spettatore fiorentino” di Giacomo Leopardi (Firenze, University Press). Last year he was the editor of the Benedetto CroceGuido Mazzoni (Firenze, SEF) correspondence. His most recent research is on the intersections between verbal and visual languages.
