A FREE ADMISSION ITALIAN FILM FESTIVAL
at the INTERNATIONAL HOUSE OF PHILADELPHIA
New Authors of Italian Cinema, Eight Edition, is a collaboration among Penn Center for Italian Studies and Cinema Studies Program and N.I.C.E. - New Italian Cinema Events. This year festival is once again held at the International House of Philadelphia and presents seven features and eight short films. The series brings to the viewing public the dynamic cinematic productivity of Italy's growing pool of young and talented filmmakers who are defined by their fresh spirit of independence.
This year film festival precedes a conference on "Traces and Symbols in Italian Neorealism" to be held at Penn on Saturday, December 2nd, in celebration of the centenary of the birth of Italian filmmakers Roberto Rossellini and Luchino Visconti.
