Course Description
All of our images of the apostle Paul are shaped by the perceptions of later interpreters. The course "Paul in Context" introduces undergraduate students to the life and writings of Paul the apostle, as understood in his own historical, social, and literary contexts, so far as these are accessible. This web site provides materials to support the course and its subject matter.
During the fall semester of 1998, Jay Treat is teaching this course as an undergraduate seminar at Franklin and Marshall College.
