Israeli Poet, Yossi Alfi

Tuesday, November 18, 2014 - 5:15pm - 6:15pm
Penn Hillel Auditorium, 215 S. 39th St.

Israeli storyteller, writer, poet, theater director, producer, chef,
and bon vivant, Yossi Alfi, immigrated to Israel as a young child and spent his formative years in a transit camp (ma'abarah), a place where many immigrants of his generation got their first taste of life in the Jewish state. He has written much about that experience. If you're curious about what life was like for the generations that built the State of Israel, come hear him.

Lecture is in English. Free and open to public.
No RSVP necessary. Penn Hillel is located at 215 S. 39th St.
