Jewish Studies Internships

Bassini Interns
With the goal of enriching intellectual life at Penn, the Jewish Studies Internship Program encourages and supports students who wish to explore the intellectual complexity and richness of Jewish Studies and related fields outside the confines of the regular classroom. Interns work in pairs under the guidance of faculty members and a graduate student advisor. Examples of past programs include:

* a tour of downtown Jewish Philadelphia
* a lively and heated panel discussion on campus about Mel Gibson's Passion
* informal discussions with leading professors
* a film screening and discussion

IT'S ALL UP TO YOU!!! Get involved.

There are no requirements to join this program. You do NOT have to be a Jewish Studies Major or Minor.

Each intern will be expected to attend the other interns programs. In return for participation and service, each intern will receive a certificate of participation and a $300 research stipend.
