Joshua Perelman, post-doctoral fellow at the National Museum of American Jewish History and the University of Pennsylvania, teaches American Jewish History. He recently completed his graduate work at New York University, where he wrote a dissertation entitled "Choreographing Identity: Modern Dance and American Jewish History, 1924-1964." He formerly served as Associate Executive Director of the American Jewish Historical Society.
