Language
Direct is a unique peer tutoring program for foreign language
learners at Penn and currently serves Spanish, Italian, French,
German, Russian, Chinese, Japanese and American Sign Language
students. For assistance with any other languages, please
contact PLC. Language Direct consists of a network of peer
tutors, supervised by graduate students, who assist foreign
language learners through drop-in tutoring and online help.

Request
tutoring
To request tutoring help, please fill out the Student
Application and submit it to Penn Language Center. You will be signed up
for a Blackboard course for the language that you requested and will be sent
more detailed information on how to schedule an appointment for tutoring, how
to use Blackboard, and how to submit writing assignments for feedback. Before
you are allowed to use the online help feature, you MUST make an appointment
with a tutor in person.
