DICTIONARY
This is a dictionary management software that can be used to create and consult dictionaries online. Search of words, easy navigation between entries, reading entries in bi-lingual mode, producing camera-ready output etc., are some of the features of this software. This software is customized to edit, create and read an English-Tamil pedagogical dictionary being developed as part of an ongoing project. Compiling LaTeX output that this software produces will enable us to get a print-out of camera-ready dictionary. This software also has facility to convert the data into a control file that can be used to make database in Oracle. Further, it contains facility to record/play audio for each field.
This software can be easily customized to any language with the use of suitable font files for the language concerned.
