Web-based Medical Spanish program
Penn Language Center and the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine,
Office of
Continuing Medical Education are pleased to announce the launch of an innovative
Medical
Spanish program for CME credits which provides a real-time virtual classroom
environment designed
for distance education and professional development for health care providers.
On-line real-time lessons are led by an experienced Spanish language
faculty member who
will create a dynamic environment for foreign language and culture learning
with live
discussions and interaction via on-line teaching and course management tools.
Weekly sessions will fit students' schedules from the comfort of their
own home, and provide health
care professionals with high quality, interactive content, powerful web-based
learning tools and
multi-media materials for home work.
Please note that all lesson times are Eastern Standard Time:
June 2006
Wednesday, June 14 - 7-9pm
Wednesday, June 21 - 7-9pm
Wednesday, June 28 - 7-9pm
July 2006
Wednesday, July 5 - 7-9pm
Wednesday, July 12 - 7-9pm
Each week there will be an additional hour for conversation practise
and group discussions
scheduled at the students convenience after the first class.
