The suffix ¡´ is affixed to strong verb stems to form the
infinitive. If the root of the strong verb ends in ç, è, §è or ë
-ru, -lu, -llu, or -lu, these endings are dropped before ¡´.
- ¼¹ nada: ¼¹¡´ nadakka `to walk'
- Ø´ë keelu: Ø´¡´ keekka `to ask, hear'
- ¼Õ§è nillu: ¼Õ¡´ nikka `to stand'
