Grammar:

Interrogative question requiring the answer either 'yes' or 'no' is made in Tamil using the suffix 'aa'. This suffix can be added with any noun or verb in the sentence depending upon the focus of the question. Further, the word order in interrogative sentences need not be changed due to the addition of this suffix.
