Email in Tamil - Guidelines
To send Romanized version: Prepare your text in the middle window and press "show in Tamil script button" provided at the bottom to check Tamil output in this window. Enclose Tamil within pipe symbols as in |itu tamizh.| This is English.... Enter recipient's email address and press send button to send the mail.

When you receive email in transliteration, you need to copy the message from email window and paste it in the text field in the middle window of this page in netscape. Then, press "show in Tamil script button". You will read your email in Tamil.
To send Tamilized version: Just type the message and press the transliterate button. You will get the Tamilized text along with fields for entering email address and name. Enter the sendee's email and your's in Tamilized version and press send button. If the sendee has Tamilnet font installed, he can directly read it in Tamil.
