	Tamil - A to Z Instructional Tamil Software for Macintosh (in 105 graded lessons)

Tamil HyperCard software with Tamil lessons for beginning to Advanced learners of Tamil is made available here for download. This software contains about 105 lessons in a systematically graded manner. Students and teachers of Tamil can use the materials provided here from beginning to advanced levels. Audio, translations and grammatical notes are provided in all the lessons. Following are some of the features of this software:

Allows one to listen to Tamil speech while reading the corresponding text simultaneously.
Contains graded lessons with grammar, from beginning to advanced levels of Tamil.
Easy to consult pop-up fields with explanations for grammar, cultural notes and translations.
Easy to compare Tamil sentences in formal written and informal spoken style.
Provides an exposure to daily conversations in simplified form.
Listen to entire dialogue or a particular segment of the dialogue just by the click of a mouse.
Easy to use navigation buttons to navigate through different lessons.

Click this image to download the software: This is in a .hqx format (11MB of size). So, you will need a BinHex - 5 software to uncompress the self-extracting file called tamila2z.sea. Once you uncompress it, double click tamila2z.sea. This will create a folder called Tamil - A to Z and copy all the required files in it. Double click any one of the Tamil stacks and you are ready to go. If you don't see Tamil, copy the Tamil font file into System > Font folder. After you uncompress this file, you will require at least 40 MB of hard drive space.
