Roman transliteration scheme for webtamil transliterator

If you have installed TamilNet font in your machine, you can use the following scheme of transliteration to convert your romnized Tamil document to TamilNet's Tamil-English ascii map. Have your Romanized transliteration within two pipe symbols as in |itu tami7| and |ingkee `tamizhil' ezutalaam.|. Save your document under any name, for instant myfile.doc, and run the transliterator program webtamil to convert to corresponding ascii symbols by the command: webtamil myfile.doc myfile.htm. You are ready to upload this document to the server. Use the following chart to choose the Roman equivalents for Tamil characters. This program was written by Vasu Renganathan (vasur@sas.upenn.edu).
