Course Requirements:
Apart
from
active participations in classes, full
attendance, presentation, weekly quizzes, final exam and an essay will
be required.
Essay
The individual selection should be made within the first two
weeks of lectures after a consultation with the teacher. The topic has
to be approved by the teacher. The essay (between 4,500 and 5,000
words) has to be submitted in Week 5.
Presentations
25 minute class
presentation is expected to be given by each student. Presentations are
expected to provide an in-depth analysis of one of the topics discussed
in the
lectures.
Full Attendance
Students are expected to attend each lecture and class. Missing
one lecture or class would lead to a lower grade. Students are also
expected to be on time. Tolerance is up to five minutes. More than five
minutes delay counts as a missing lecture/class.
