Preparing for the Mid-Term Examination

Preparing for the Final Examination

The final examination will be held on May 5, from 11:00 to 1:00 pm in room B3 of Meyerson Hall. All of the reading assignments are on the Course Schedule.

By way of summary, the reading assignments covered by the final exam are as follows.
  • From Corrigan: all of the chapters that relate to Christianity and Islam
  • from the New Testament: a Gospel and the Epistle to the Romans
  • From the bulk pack: the excerpts from Augustine's Confessions, the Canticle of Francis of Assisi, the Summa Theologiae of Thomas Aquinas, Kierkegaard's Fear and Trembling, Teilhard de Chardin's "Hymn to Matter," Trible's "Hagar: The Desolation of Rejection," and the Divine Liturgy of St. John Chrysostom
  • From the Qur'an: suras 1 and 2
  • From Rippin-Knappert: sections 2; 3; 5; 6; 7.1-7.2; 8:1-8.3; 9.
