Elisa Modolo

Elisa Modolo is an Italian student from Venice.  She holds a Bachelors in Italian Literature and a Masters in Philology and Italian literature from Ca’ Foscari University of Venice.  Both her two theses focus on the rediscovery of a rarely-studied woman writer of the 17th- century, Margherita Costa, especially focusing on her theatrical and poetic works. Overall, Elisa’s interests mainly concentrate on female literary production and theatrical literature. She is the recepient of the following fellowships:
