The Certificate in Russian

Students of all majors may enrich their course of study with a Certificate in Russian. An alternative to the major and minor, this new program serves the needs of students who seek to demonstrate a proficiency in Russian beyond the intermediate level. The minimum requirement is 3 c.u. beyond Russ 004 and excludes courses in translation. A minimum of a B+ average in all the courses required.

Any combination of advanced courses taught in Russian may be chosen (300-499).
