Noli Me Tangere (Touch Me Not) 
El Filibusterismo (The Subversion) 
Noli Me Tangere, published in 1887 in Berlin, ignited nationalism in Filipinos and lead them to their victory in the Revolution of 1898.  El Filibusterismo was published in 1891 and once again that the revolution is the only means of social reform in the Philippines under the Spanish regime.
