I have both programs installed both here and at home (and yes, Kenny F., I
bought TWO legal copies of each program :) ). XyDos is my choice when what
I want is a quick and dirty editing job, or if I'm writing lines of code, or
if I want to work with IBID to manage my rather extensive bibliographic
database. I use XyWin for final polishing and for creation of memos et.al.
where the WYSIWYG screen is needed to guage the VISUAL impact of my words.
I use OS/2 Warp exclusively, and find that XyDos and XyWin coexist very
happily. The nice thing, of course, is that documents easily pass back and
forth between XyDos and XyWin.
This way, I get the best of both worlds.
