xyWrite & html revisited

Ken Frank noted: "As far as HTML (and SGML) support is concerned we will
undoubtedly be doing work in both areas. THe real issue is the timing vis a
vis other initiatives. And that is not presently resolved. That is to say, at
the moment those projects are not at the top of the stack."

Read it and weep. Remember Ed Mendelson? Has xpl programs in Art Campbell's
v3 book, and is gentle when he reviews xyWrite for ZD mags. The 13 June PCMag
I mentioned (Ray Duncan's primer that overlooks xyWrite as an html text
editor) also has a First Look by Mendelson at Quarterdeck and MS html
utilities. Others, none so well suited as xyWrite, are speeding to join the
gold rush. Is the word timely in the TTG vocabulary?

The different drummer TTG marches to is beating a dirge. That stack needs to
be shuffled. --annie
