The conference aims to accommodate a broad range of interests among Neohellenists, and it is hoped that participants will bring insights to the exploration of the theme from a diversity of disciplines, including cultural / multicultural studies, linguistics, literary criticism, pedagogy, politics and social anthropology. The conference will also receive and discuss reports on the teaching of Modern Greek in Australia, New Zealand and elsewhere, and will include a General Meeting of the Association.
Papers may be either in English or in Greek. 200-word abstracts of proposed papers should reach the convenors by Friday 16 February 1996 at the following address:
