MAP ASSIGNMENT - ANCIENT ROME

Find the location of the following places using the maps available in your textbooks. Consult the maps in J. Boardman ed., The Roman World: "Map 1: Italy" (p. 12); and "Map 3: The Roman Empire (Western Provinces)" (p. 143) and "Map 3: The Roman Empire (Eastern Provinces)" (pp. 144-45). There are also good maps in your reader: Plutarch, Roman Lives, following p. xxxiv, right at the front of the volume, of: The City of Rome, Italy, Greece, Gaul, Spain, the central and the eastern Mediterranean.
