Actual-state Plans
This is an example of an actual-state plan, The Lechaion Road as it leaves the forum and leads to the north. The road has been excavated for a length of approximately 85 meters. The original drawing was made by Harold North Fowler and Richard Stillwell and published as Plate X in Corinth, Results of Excavations, Vol I, 1932. This drawing was digitized in 1991 with the colors representing different architectural elements of the road and associated monuments.

By pressing the colored buttons under the plan you can highlight different elements of the road. This ability to select which elements of the plan are visible at any time highlights the benefits gained by digitizing the plans.
