Joan Baez

While attending the Newport Folk Festival in Newport, Rhode Island, I happen to be staying in the same hotel as Joan Baez. The night before this photo was taken, Joan teamed up with Emily Saliers, Amy Ray and Mary Chapin Carpenter to perform as "Four Voices in Harmony. It was a wonderful experience !

(you can tell how nervous I was by the fact that I could not keep my feet still...... my foot is coming out of my shoe.

Notice the trophy on my leg from sliding into 3rd base two days before the concert :-(
