Message from James Hall (James.O.Hall@att.net)

Hi Cousins,

Just a little over 6 weeks until our Keller cousins’ reunion on June 30 - July 2! Here is the roster of who we know for sure is coming so far:

If we've inadvertently left any of you off this list let us know -- we hope we'll be adding lots more names. A reminder that you have just until this Friday, May 18, to make your reservations at the Club Quarters at the really terrific rate Harold negotiated. The phone number is 212/575-0006; identify yourself as with the University of Pennsylvania and mention code UPN629.

We may reserve a space at the Club Quarters on Saturday and Sunday as a hospitality room. After Nancy is able to visit the Club and see the lobby, we will make a final recommendation on this. The lobby of the Club Quarters is pleasant and of decent size, but it is not private so a reserved space (with a small fridge and microwave) might make impromptu gatherings more congenial. The cost for the private space would be about $5 per person per night. We'll be back in touch with you with our recommendation after Nancy's visit and a review of the alternatives.

We're very pleased we’ve been able to arrange for a private function room at Anthony's Pier 4 Restaurant on Boston harbor for our dinner and program on Sunday evening, July 1. Anthony's Pier 4 is a Boston landmark, and our room will have grand views of the harbor. We've contracted for a "cocktail reception" repast which will include shrimp, oysters, baked stuffed clams, Swedish meat balls, chicken wings, roast beef, vegetable and dip platter, tortellini salad, cheese and crackers, etc. All drinks, alcoholic and non-alcoholic, will be available at a cash bar. Full details are available at the Anthony's Pier 4 Web site www.pier4.com. Click ! on Anth ony's Pier 4/Boston, then "banquets" then "cocktail reception". The price for the food, with tax, gratuity, and fee for private use of the room from 6 to 10 p.m., is $41.00 per person. (There is no reduced price for children.) Restaurants in Boston with private function rooms are very expensive, and this was the best deal we could find. Barbara's after-dinner program alone will be worth the cost!

Nancy is the treasurer for the reunion. Her mail often gets delayed since she moves back and forth between Worcester to Atlanta so you can send checks made out to her c/o James' address (127 High Haith Road, Arlington MA 02476). Or you can give her a check once you get to Boston.

A number of you have contacted us with your travel plans. If you're flying in let us know and we'll meet you at Logan Airport.

Finally, if you want to get a head start on planning your visit to Boston you can Google "Massachusetts tourism" and "Boston tourism" and be connected to a plethora of information. During the week before the 4th of July, Boston will be celebrating its "Harborfest" with many unique activities. See www.Bostonharborfest.com.

We look forward to seeing you in 6 weeks. And, again, anything we can do to help with your visit please let us know.

-- Nancy, Barbara, David and James
