Period of Solomon's Monarchy" in his recently released book, On the 8th
Day God Laughed published by Bibal Press. This hilarious
volume is a collection of articles from The Door Magazine (formerly
The Door, fomerly The Wittenberg Door) over the past decades
on the subject of Biblical Studies. It's packed with humorous works on
most of the characters and

In the book Darden gives some new insight as to his assessment of our article, "But before we leave King Solomon, in the interests of fairness, it is only appropriate that we include at least one serious article, one whose weighty subject matter lends a much-needed substance and gravity to this light-hearted little tome:" (p. 61). We are glad to have contributed in this manner. And we might add that Darden's description is quite presient given the political terminology that has become popular in just t he last week or so! Solomon was truly a ruler who had, as they say, gravitas.
We are grateful that Darden chose our article to be part of his volume. Though unworthy, we have once again been included as part of the ELECT!
