Nouns and noun classes.

Tamil nouns do not require classification into `declensions' or form classes of any sort, because the morphology of the noun, which means of the case system, is quite regular. There are nouns that exhibit certain kinds of morphophonemic changes ( sandhi) before case, however, and these are as follows:
