on my head.  If they're
noticeable to her, he
also must have noticed them.
This leads her to believe
I must have told him not
to cut them.  It's okay
to assert my individuality
but not at my hair's expense.
She recommends I use another
part of my body to make a statement, 
preferably one she can't see.
