Marica Pariante Angelides was born in Naples, and educated in Italy and the United States.  She has received a JD equivalent, in 1987, from the University of Rome's "La Sapienza" School of Law, and an L.L.M. from University of Pennsylvania, with concentration on comparative and international Law, in 1992. Her work includes translating documents from and into Italian. She has also published several articles in "The Chronicle", the monthly publication of the American Translators Association.
