These photographs were taken in Duzce, Turkey. Duzce was the epicenter ofthe second major earthquake in the fall of 1999. Eight months later, I visited that region with a medical team from Philadelphia called MEDISM. Thousands of people were still living in tent camps with varying degrees of support.
