cackle, cackle,
the phone is immeasurable,
      	spelled like a toilet eye
in some small fancy French Hotel

And like the opossum hiding in the opera house ventilation system,

gone are the days of old; the scowl is fresh and wow

The hush is temperamental

Red fatigue low and ripping

The ring of the phone is funny yip

A told-you-so type of antique gold humor

Ring Ring

One sd: "My Mom taught me how to steal cable"

Ring Ring

oh now, she did, well, shame on her

cackle cackle, goddammit, shame on her.
