Her specialization is the social history of early Christianity, using both literary texts and documentary sources. She recently published Greetings in the Lord: Christian Identity and the Oxyrhynchus Papyri (Harvard University Press 2007) and is working on the publication of a sixth-century Coptic manuscript containing Christian oracles. LocationThe Del Mar B room is on the third level of the Manchester Grand Hyatt hotel. For a floor plan map, see this PDF file. DiningIf you wish to dine with the group before the meeting, we will attempt to find room at Redfield's Deli in the hotel from as close to 6:00 as possible Information on the restaurant (and other hotel eateries) is available. Please let Bob Kraft know if you want to try to join the group for dinner. Bob Kraft has made a reservation (under "KRAFT") for the "Friday Night Seafood Buffet" at Lael's Restaurant which is to the left of the main registration desk. The reservation is for 10, at and after 5:45. Right now he has 9 names, but if more come we're probably ok at the buffet. We'll check outside of Redfield's for any stragglers. The menu is online. |
