			after Marc Chagall

Rain stops The lines are missing The simple language is! Half drawn man kissing woman He a turn away she is bottom missing On a bench that appears unstable (or half there) The house is a broken home Her hands are up in explanation but her lips look Like they are on his cheek his hand looks crippled Or he is giving an okay sign with only three fingers Someone is peering over the back fence "a looker" Half of the bodies are invisible "or a friend" The world is fading a skimpy tree peers on The language is on the ink on the lines Alone As the day is elongated there is a question Where is the horse in this one?
