Verbalizers and Compound Verbs

Tamil can combine nouns with verbs and make `compound verbs', that is, verbs that are equivalent to a verb in another language. The nominal part of this compound is not marked for case though it may in fact be the semantic object of the verbal action. These compound verbs are on the borderline between being independent verbs, and being phrases containing a noun and a verb.
