Introductory
lessons with video segments
a) Listen to a text
This set of listening exercices has
been developed to be used in the elementary Kiswahili class. In each exercise,
student will do the following:
Even though the focus of these exerices is to
reinforce listening skills, reading, writing, and speaking will be
reinforced as well. The exercises can be used in the classroom, or as
supplementary materials for students to do outside the classroom (for the
listening part). It can be arranged for students to monitor their own
progress, or the exercises can be turned in for assessment by the
instructor.

questions based on the text
d) Write down the answers on the space
provided
e) Based on the topic of the text, write a short essay
f) Based on the topic of the text, conduct interviews with
other
students and do discussions
You don't
